Barn Sale Recieving - Every Thursday; 10:00 am to noon, and 2:00 to 4:00 pm
The Barn Sale is ready to receive inventory from all residents every Thursday from 10:00 am to noon and 2:00 to 4:00 pm. For instructions on how to donate, click here. We are asking that ALL donations (except books) come to the workroom in the back hall of the Lower Level of the Center - where the Mini Barn Sales have been held. Book donations are on the second Thursday of the month in the library area (notice below).

Let's Sing's Monthly Schedule, First Mondays
Let’s Sing will meet on the first Monday of each month in the Auditorium. Everyone who likes to sing is welcome. "Let's Sing" is an informal gathering of Broadmead residents who meet once a month to sing popular songs. Jonathan Jensen, a Baltimore Symphony Orchestra player, leads the group on the piano. Socrates Cafe, Monthly on the Third Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:45 am - Auditorium
This monthly discussion group will probe "big questions" as Socrates would have us do: not seeking answers but asking questions to expand our understanding. The meetings are on the third Tuesday of the month in the Auditorium, from 10:30 to 11:45 am. The meetings are sponsored by the Towson Unitarian Universal Church Church and are open to all. Mexican Train Dominoes on Tuesday Nights

Classics Book Club to also Discuss James Joyce's Ulysses

InSight - Monthly on the Third Tuesday from 3:15 to 5:00 pm in the Fireplace Room
InSight meets in the Fireplace room on the third Tuesday of each month from 3:15 to 5:00 pm. There is an opportunity there to learn and share how to cope with and overcome difficulties encountered between visits to the ophthalmologist. A varied program is presented each month.

Sew & So - Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Sew&So is open for business in its new workspace on the lower level of the Center on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to noon. They Accept work from residents and employees for mending, alteration, and household sewing needs. A small fee is charged which goes to the BRA. Finished work notices are placed in boxes to be picked up at the front desk. Volunteers are welcome. Contact Karen Seybold if interested.
Intermediate Contract Bridge _ Wednesdays at 1:30 pm in the Bistro
Intermediate level contract bridge will be played in the Bistro on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm. Call Marj Espenschade to reserve your space.
Movie Musical Matineess - First Wednesdays at 3 pm in the Auditorium

Model Train and Railroad Club Meeting on the 4th Wednesday on the Month

Great Decisions will begin on Thursdays in January 2024 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Sessions will continue weekly on Thursdays until March.

Library Book Donations and BCPL Bookmobile, Second Thursday of the Month
For the next few months, BRA Library book donations will be scheduled for the second Thursday of each month at the same time that the BCPL Bookmobile is here. The next book donation date is scheduled for Thursday, July 13th. Click here to view the Library's book donation guidelines.

Christian Men's Connection Group, Fridays, 9:00 to 10:15 am - Fireplace Room
A men's faith gathering meets weekly on Friday mornings in the Fireplace Room from 9:00-10:15 am. Participants get to know one another over coffee and donuts and then share prayer time an a bible based discussion. They work through various studies to encourage one another and apply biblical principles to all aspects of life. For more information, contact Mike Goodrich.
BRA Flower Committee Meeting Weekly - Fridays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
The BRA Flower Committee meets weekly, on Friday mornings, to create numerous fresh floral arrangements for placement around the Broadmead Center.
